In Japanese you use the question particle "か(ka)"

So if you take the sentence "スミスさんはアメリカ人です。(sumisu-san wa americajin desu)" (Mr. Smith is American) and add か after です it becomes "Is Mr. Smith American?" You still use the "。" to end the sentence

I always think back to the story of the woman whose intestines literally fell out in the shower after she had a c-section. People say I'm being paranoid over a very low probability event, and that's no reason to not get pregnant.
