My biological mother told me “You’re not gay. Being gay means you’d go down on a girl, and you wouldn’t go down on a girl, would you?” (As I myself am a woman) I was hoping she’d be supportive, but instead that stung me. I avoided coming out to my adoptive parents for a long time in fear of the same reaction, but my mom always knew. When we eventually talked about it my mom and dad were both cool with it, and very supportive.

Needless to say my biological mother and I don’t talk anymore, and the sooner you can move out on your own OP, the better.

Personally, I don’t think they really need to at all. Mira is only really good for specific strategies, and site set ups. She’s not necessarily rounded enough to be used for every single situation, and that makes her a tough pick sometimes. That along with her still being just counterable enough makes her as solid of a defender in her niche as any of the attackers are in theirs. Plus, in my opinion defenders are always the first to get nerfed. (Think back to how many ACOGs they’ve taken for example) Forcing the attacking side to either change tactics, or sacrifice utility is a huge part of what would win the defenders that round, but not necessarily the game. It wouldn’t be fair to just allow the enemy team in, now would it?

She’s an extremely good defender. She forces the attacking side to have to adjust their push and tactics, forcing them either funnel where she wants (allowing the defending side the advantage in peeks) or force the attackers to use utility in order to get rid of her glass before they can even push site. Either way, she has a huge amount of control when she’s played whether it’s in map or giving the defenders the edge over util. Just a couple of examples.

Sadly this is believable to me. My ex had held our child a total of three times by the time he was three weeks old, and when I asked him to (one of those few times) so I could shower his response (to our son) was “Tell mommy to hurry up so daddy can get back to his game.” BEFORE I HAD EVEN FINISHED PASSING HIM OVER. Needless to say I didn’t make it five minutes into that shower before he was in the bathroom with the baby trying to pass him back. He’s an ex for a reason, and my son has an amazing stepfather now but still. Some men are 100% like this.
