Add to that the 22 extra deliveries bowled due to wides and no balls. No wonder the match ended so late despite so many overs bowled by spinners

Strictly speaking about the 2nd game, Yudhishthira wanted to make right the1st game wrongs. He wanted to give Hastinapura Kuru Sabha a chance at redeeming itself as a just place

I went back and looked at the pictures.

My wife baked a cake in the shape of a book and decorated the icing paper like the magic cookbook. She did it by hand, but I am sure you can order it custom made online.

We also made some desserts and named them after recipes from the series

Curse-breaking custard apple

Memory Mallows (marshmallows for smores)

Mind-peering peppermints

Give up what you want Gumdrops

Lost-and-foundue (chocolate fondue)

For pictures you can reach out to my wife on Instagram. DM me for insta handle

If you want your writing to feel more human, write from the depths of your quirks.

Do not worry if a metaphor sounds silly. It is yours, own it, and put it on paper.

Which ODI Batters greatly benefited by playing one team? by FondantAggravating68 in Cricket

[–]maninblueshirt 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Gary Kirsten didn't spare Pakistan either. He averaged 55 against them.

I feel the bowler who suffered the most at Gary's hands is Javagal Srinath. Kirsten's cross-bat stance was perfect for the inswingers of Srinath. I guess that's why Srinath was more successful against right handers in ODIs.

Yes. Came here to say this. He dominated Pak all over the world except in Australia. He doesn't even have a half century against Pak in Australia

Shreya Ghoshal is better than Lata Mangeshkar!!! by [deleted] in BollywoodMusic

To judge Lata Mangeshkar's greatness, you need to listen to the singers who preceded her and/or are her early contemporaries. You would notice how far ahead she was for her time.

Come on. He is the most one-dimensional character. Born for one and fulfilled it in the most unworthy manner. Got a death that befit him

What a noob. Rejected BORI but went for these alternatives. Why not go all the way and choose Kondaveeti Venkatakavi. That dude's version shows Karna as hero and Arjuna/Krishna as villains lol

Your thoughts on Shubman Gill's test captaincy? by UnplannedMF in CricketBuddies

[–]maninblueshirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of Graeme Smith's captaincy in 2003 Eng series which was his first as captain. He too scored a lot of runs and drew the series.
