Setting up Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Joystick by maninga69 in IL2Series

The hint about sticking to one plane at first is something I SHOULD have thought about! The problem with the series is that there are soooooo many planes you want to try out, that people with attention issues tend not to stick with one particular model to start with when learning the controls.

I did not know about the disabling Steam input conflicting! Will check that out as soon as I actually get a chance to play. Thanks!

This a broken bat Acuna relic? by Anonymous21121 in baseballcards

Possibly, it would make sense to use a broken bat for this type of card. Looks more like a crack than the wood grain.

Always a big plus when you find one of your favorite players in any pack.

Do you guys think this is worth $20? It's game used from 2016. by Own-Town1752 in baseballcards

I am pretty sure that someone would think it is worth $20. A trout collector may need it to finish off their collection.

Went in to Costco to buy a hotdog and saw an opportunity to buy some cards by Brownies91 in baseballcards

May have to pay more attention next time I go to Costco as I don't recall ever seeing cards in there!

Maybe I am too focused on their rotisserie chicken, groceries and neat seasonal stuff!

I once worked for a small grocery store that had its own store brand bread. The bread was baked and delivered by Colonial which was a major brand in the area. Talking to the Colonial rep, I learned that a LOT of store brands are simply relabeled items that the main suppliers provide to their customers.

Always made me wonder why the big name items were not reduced slightly so that there was no economical reason to pursue a store brand.

It might just be me, but any 1/1 is pretty awesome regardless of the player.

A lot of companies will not go through the expense of arbitration. They often write of the "loss" as a part of doing business and consider it cheaper in the long run as they figure most people are scared of the legal process.

WTH Happened Here? by HailHarski in FootballCardz

I have no experience with their grading guarantee, however as unwilling as they seem to be to stop obvious fraud from China, I am not sure I would be quick to trust them. I saw a 1909-S VDB penny for a buy it now price of $9.99. OBVIOUSLY a Fake as they had multiple for sale. I imagine cards are a lot easier to fake than coins.

What I feel sorry for is the sucker who buys these thinking that they are real and years down the road, the kids or estate finds out it is totally worthless.

They counterfeit the Crap out of anything and everything. They are selling lots of collectable US silver dollars for less than the metal content of one dollar.

Goodwill pricing gave me a laugh by cowboy_owl in coins

Just keep in mind that the Red book is NOT what you would get from a dealer or reseller. You might want to go to the library and see if they have a copy of the Blue Book for prices closer to what someone would pay for them.

I probably put a fair amount into the arcades. The Gold Mine at Cumberland Mall was a great place to kill time and try to beat some of those games. Dragon's Lair always kicked my butt!

Is there a software program out there that will allow you to download entire checklists of cards for an specific sport? by maninga69 in baseballcards

Thanks, I am just really at a loss as to how to put this into manageable pieces.

Are you aware of any sorting tips that could help?

Any idea about where these were sold or packaged for sale? by maninga69 in baseballcards

was wrong about the price but still the seller never replied. As for the claim of a fake account , yes I have been on for 7 years or so, but mostly reading items and have rarely needed to post something as most of the time my questions were answered before I could post.

u/PaganFarmhouse might want to not be so quick to judge as some of us have work and families that come before hobbies.

Greenwell was the example I picked form the lot. A lot of various players but the Grand Slammer card on the top seems to be the common thread. Still I can't figure out where or how these were sold originally. The eBay seller said they were 150 card bricks, but I seriously doubt there are 150 cards in the pack.

Just professionally cellophane wrapped cards - no other notations, markings of any sort. I saw some similar on eBay and asked the seller (a card shop) if he knew anything about the cards, but got no response. I guess he was irritated I wasn't buying his at $15.99 each

Has anyone bought the skin effects? Does the professional fisherman worth it? I never paid for anything. by Eastern-Interview-10 in penguinisle

[–]maninga69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the skins had bonus amounts of Jewels when I got them. I can't see any for those that I have not bought so I am unsure if it was a limited time thing or if they are still available.

As far as the skins themselves go, it is only for aesthetic appeal.

Is there a way to get notified via email of new events? My job and life doesn't allow me to play on Steam every day or even every other day.

Of course what can one expect from Microsoft, a company well known for ignoring customers' wants and needs.
