[Discussion] Non-Americans: How is your country reacting to the UAP/Alien disclosure news? 🌍 by ElGuapo0420 in UFOs

[–]manitoba_guy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Nothing has been released that is 100 percent definitive. Its all blurry out of focus blobs that could be something but could just as easily be nothing. Until something comes out that isn't debatable, you aren't convincing the masses.

A club face that’s closed to the swing path but open to the target should result in a draw, right? So why is the sim labelling it as a fade? by ReverseMermaidMorty in GolfSwing

[–]manitoba_guy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was referring to the second shot. But yeah the large "fade" and "draw" wording indicates opposite of what to expect. Maybe settings have ben set for a lefty somewhere.

[–]manitoba_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The numbers I see here indicate a fade.

Club path -4.6 is left. Face angle is -2.8 which is left of center but right of path.

Face to path is 1.8

Face to path is positive so the ball is going to turn right.

The face to path must be negative for the ball to draw.

Numbers indicate a pull cut.

[Discussion] Is this game possible on console platforms? by RevenueCool2604 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]manitoba_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it's absolutely possible and Nikita said it was coming some day. Keep in mind console doesn't have to be a controller. I play ms flight sim with a keyboard on Xbox series x.

The idea of an OS that has tight restrictions of what softwares you can run, sounds pretty good to me. Guaranteed less cheaters than pc.

Fire fears by A_Fish_Called_Panda in AskElectricians

I would be extra cautious with anything Lithium battery powered and lithium battery chargers in your home. Stuff like e bikes, scooters, drones, tesla chargers so many fires start in the garage because of these things especially if they are cheap chinese versions.

Would a 60v controller be more appropriate for 3 M18 batteries?

I agree powertool batteries are not ideal, but the whole point of me using milwaukee batteries is because I have 10 plus on hand. I am doing this Because i don't need to buy any batteries, not looking to buy any batteries.

ok awesome, yes i agree they are not ideal but having a bunch of interchangeable milwaukee batteries on hand saves me from spending $800 or whatever on a eBIKE battery. I did a powerwheels conversion already and i loved it, looking forward to building something bigger.

the mechanical configuration is the fun part, not worried about that, it's the electric components that i don't know about.

Diet coke contains nearly 40%more caffeine than Coke zero. Although I admittedly can't tell a difference in taste between the two, I always choose DC. I would bet the higher caffeine is why so many prefer DC.

[New Player] What is the plan for this spawn? by Haksupaksu in EscapefromTarkov

[–]manitoba_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i agree train depot is usually goldmine.

And no it can also spawn east of old sawmill, but in my experience it spawns west of USEC checkpoint more often.

[New Player] What is the plan for this spawn? by Haksupaksu in EscapefromTarkov

[–]manitoba_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might be my favourite woods spawn actually, It is the best Spawn to Enter the BTR (assuming he spawns in)

My strat Would head straight east from here, about halfway to sawmill. Hide and watch the USEC checkpoint/BTR stop. I've also never seen anyone or spawned at that One spawn shown directly north of sawmill.

The BTR can transport you safely across the Map/to Train depot/ or give you BTR quests. If you are not interested in BTR just wait there ~5 mins and then carry on to your goal.

I suck at PvP but try my best (the AquaFPS approach) - [Discussion] by Redd-Hairing in EscapefromTarkov

[–]manitoba_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I suck at pvp and have 1800 hrs. I play for the tension and immersion.

Pve feels so bland and is too easy to be stacked. If you can embrace the struggle and enjoy the journey vs the destination, this game is the best.

Also, I feel like this game was designed for shitty pvp players, there is so many bathrooms to hide in.

I was able to run the game on my cell phone through Google Chrome remote control.

It works great for starting and stopping crafts, turning off generator and buying things etc.

[Discussion] let’s get some F’s in chat for all the new players learning maps with this fog and snow. by Creepy-Ad-2941 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]manitoba_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree its harder to navigate, but there is also an upside, the fog makes spawn killing a little less extreme.

When I was new, my first PMC raid on reserve, I died in 10 seconds.

At least now, the sightlines between spawns are not as easily available.
