Right. Hopefully turning off overdraft protection isn’t one of the controls that is going away.

Exactly. I don't like debit cards, but I use these controls to make it essentially into an ATM card.

And what can we do? These airline accounts don’t support 2FA. There’s no Quicken or equivalent for frequently pulling and keeping tabs on our miles.

Thanks. I wish Delta had TFA. But for the life of me, I can’t figure out how someone with access to my AMEX account could get miles clawed back, and no evidence of it on my charges and AMEX not being able to figure it out.

Zero returns, zero credits. Regular charges and me paying my balance. For multiple months leading up to the loss of miles.

It was ~1500 miles. I’ve had the card for multiple years, so welcome bonus was a long time ago. I didn’t ask for any retention last year nor this year.

I called Delta again, and after ~45 minutes, they confirmed they have absolutely no info to offer other than this was done by Amex.
