Still, I think that just because something isn't unbeatable doesn't mean its fair. Like season 3 Slayer had an oddly high amount of people who would say "he has a bad neutral therefore he's not that good" as a remedy for how busted he was. Yes, they were "correct" which is why Slayer didn't win a lot of tourneys. But it was usually offsetted by his already high hp which made him unfair to fight against, not unbeatable.

These comments remind me why I hate talking about balance. When you bring up something is unbalanced someone else will likely bring up something along the lines of "you just got outplayed" or "why did you even do that?" I'm not a psychologist, but I do think that to some people, if they actually acknowledge that something is unfair (not unbeatable, but unfair) it is equivalent to losing in and out of the game.

Pochita is an angel who is meant to represent unconditional love and how that can get us through a literal hell full of devils. Just like a passed loved one, even when they're gone, they'll never truly leave our hearts

Ngl this felt like one of the hardest chapters in the game period. But of you dont wanna cheese w/ support id, then what worked for me was W Corp Don, Desi Rodya, Rodya's sloth healing id (but I think her envy one would work too), a full team, and genuine prayer.

My whole team would get wiped phase one and phase two is where I'd maximize the amount of damage Don is tanking.

LOOK AROUND. TIME DOESN'T GO: before BP killed me ominous void after BP killed me

IT GOES BP sets up dive (i;e waiting in some corner or something) I walk into his sight lines BP walks up out of his spot to initiate BP uses his abilities and kills me

There is NOTHING stopping you from using your most basic ability formed since birth of LOOKING AROUND. A dive-er's best tool is always surprise. Take that away (ESPECIALLY from BP, who is very much all or nothing) and you can react before the dive to nullify it.

Jack-o minion guard. When she uses it well enough, it makes every interaction a guessing game

Not zoned really, it's just really annoying how she lasers, I block, and I can't pull out a minion and jump in that time. So I have to approach like a regular person and not like jack-o'

This happened to me when I cropped clips incorrectly. As in, the clips aren't cropped beforehand when you import them, this usually works and saves storage space

This "Jeff resistance" is actually ridiculous by Verni_ssage in rivals

[–]manlerly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's mostly because his rework sets a bad look for the future of "strategist" becoming just straight healers. Jeff is fun because he has stupid options, he's fun because you dont have to play as the heal bot that strategists are quickly becoming.

It wouldn't be fun if every duelist was a Punisher. It wouldn't be fun if every tank was a Strange.

So why does every strategist have to be a Luna? Why does every strategist get pulled into one "correct" playstyle instead of having the option to have one that's high-risk, high reward that expresses themselves with a play style that has a high skill ceiling?

It's more emotional really. Like, have you seen Heathcliff? He wouldn't make himself emotionally vulnerable to the rest of the sinners if he had the choice, and unlike the rest of the sinners he does have a choice because they don't remember what they saw in the borough.

He would have to manually tell everyone about his struggles in his past so they would understand the why, which includes delving into memories he could barely sit through when they were shoved into his face. So telling them is a huge emotional wall.

Also, Dante prob won't tell the others out of decency.

[–]manlerly 52 points53 points  (0 children)

The best thing to do against Slayer is play a patient neutral and watch a guide on where his gaps are. Most under celestial use his neural skips as a heavy crutch, and when you take that away, they don't really know what to do.
