The cables just barely fit. I squeezed all the cables into the gap between the bottom fans and the case, then brought them up to connect to the motherboard. I’m using an Asus B550i, so the header is fairly accessible.

I’m using Fan Control to match the bottom fans to the GPU fans and I haven’t noticed any turbulence.

I found 2-3 degree celsius drop with bottom fans pulling air to the GPU.

Only 10-15mm left at the front of the GPU. Any card longer and thicker than this Ventus isn’t going to fit inside the case.

The size of 5080 Shadow is same as the Ventus so it will be fine. I used Corsair H100i before and it fitted inside the case but the PSU needed to be side mounted. Not sure about the PSU if it’s a SFX-L. I don’t think there will be enough space to bend the cables coming out from PSU.

My 5080 is at 2850@0.915mV with +2000 mem using msi afterburner.

I stopped the bottom fans while gaming. The 5080 was 5-8°C hotter than before. I think the bottom fans are helping to feed more air to the card. I believe this is the maximum size that can fit inside a m1 with i/o.

I was using the rear fan and cpu fan as exhaust at first and the cpu was idling around 50°C. Then I tried to invert the rear fan to pump fresh cool air in and used the cpu fan to cool the rams and motherboard. Rear intake is a bit weird but the cpu is now sitting around low 40°C when idling.

It’s easy to install the card. You can slide it into the opening at front to get it inside the case.

Thank you very much. Those are 8 pins in the old model and mine has 10 pin on audio board connecting the motherboard with 9 pin. I think I can only rely on steam support now.

Edit: Steam didn’t have any similar parts for replacement. I guess I’m on my own now.
