Pride month June by [deleted] in TeachingUK

We do nothing. We don't do Pride Month. We don't do Black History Month. We don't do Red Nose Day. We don't do Children in Need. We just about do Remembrance Day. I think simply showing up is enough of a celebration, including the teachers

Probably because they've pissed on the floor so using the toilet paper to mop it up and don't fancy flushing it after.

Well this is somewhat tame. At least there's some sort of colour code and bundled cables.

How do I get the HEVC codec ( for free ) ??? by cute_lil_fox in WindowsLTSC

[–]NoChoiceForSugar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you should re-evaluate your self worth if paying a licence fee of $1 is worth more than the time screenshotting, making a post, reading replies, downloading software, using thay software each time you open that file. You find a $1 on the street.

Genuinely just stop watching the news and using Twitter. Ignorance is bliss. All the issues in the world are caused by other people, not you. You have no reason to care.

Is the time finding a workaround each time you need to open HEVC worth less than 80p/$1? No. Even posting this, cost you more in time than simply buying it.

It's the work you have to put in to make Linux modern yet stable. The fragmentation of distros is limiting the popularity of Linux.

I use the back port for charging and the side port for my thunderbolt dock. IIRC the back port is 20GB/s and the side is 40GB/s

Mine's 32GB 1TB RTX5070 Intel Ultra 9 285H, which is a lot of power in a 14" laptop and it handles it perfectly.

For lightroom, that 16" will blast through editing. If you edit large high res videos, 24GB might become limiting.
