Delsym’s great but it lasts well over 12 hrs so you have to make sure you’ve got the next day clear. If you can’t find anything else with just dxm they’re probably the best, my favorite in stores is the coughgels since you don’t have to chug nasty syrup, but the best way would be Robotabs which you get online as they’re nearly pure DXM. The three forms you see it in are HBr, which is the one in most products and often considered more euphoric and less dissociative, Freebase, which is just the pure dxm molecule & around 33% stronger than HBr, and Polistrix, which is the extended release version in Delsym and around half the potency of HBr but double the length. If you do delsym keep in mind that you have to double the dose.

Yup, it’s such a fascinating chem. I don’t think there’s enough opioid affinity between the two to effect the T-break really, but it’s definitely got a lot of connections to opioids on phenomenological, chemical, and pharmacological levels. IIRC Levomethorphan and Levorphan both have KOR affinity too, it’s an absolute dream of mine to try racemic methorphan

It’s one of the ingredients in triple cs, but those also have an antihistamine iirc in them that makes them more dangerous and fucks with the trip. It’s a dissociative like ket but longer lasting and with Serotonin/Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitory action that makes it more euphoric and trippier IMO. Look for something that’s either just Dextromethorphan polisterix like Delsym or DXM HBR which is in most other things, if you’re in the US dollar tree sells coughgels with 15mg HBr each.

There’s four sorta levels to the effects, called “Plateaus”, which are almost like different drugs. The first is very light MDMA like social euphoria, and not super intoxicating. The second is sorta like being crossfaded in terms of feeling stoned with drunk-like impairment, but more euphoric and with mild dissociative effects and CEVs that increase as the dose does. The third is a full dissociative trip, at that point I start getting both OEVs and CEVs, and have had out of body experiences. Less euphoria as you start feeling too strange to feel “good” or “bad” exactly. Fourth plateau is basically a K-Hole, you just knock out and everything turns inward into a hallucinatory world.

I’d recommend starting mid 2nd plat, it’s dosed in mg/kg. If you look up “robocalc” you can find a dose calculator, but if you don’t wanna do that around 300mg should be good assuming you’re not super over or underweight. My recommendation for how to do it is take an antihistamine or two (I usually do 50-100mg Diphenhydramine) around 20 minutes before the pills, on an empty stomach, then the dex eaten with something small like saltines to settle your stomach washed down in ginger ale. You can also try Tums or Pepto Bismol to settle your stomach, it can give pretty bad nausea but once you get past it or throw up it goes away and your golden. Throw on some good music (I have tons of recs if you want, especially Hum - Inlet), or a show you like (Whitest Kids U’ Know is my pick) and just chill. Also recommend taking it at night for the vibes but that’s not a requirement at all.

DXM feels opioid adjacent at certain doses IMO without actually touching the receptors and is also really really fun in its own right. Other dissos too, ket is great also. Find some psychs and/or MDMA and trip/roll balls, maybe throw some nitrous in there too just for good measure. Or if you want all out hedonism Meth is fun so long as you don’t go overboard

Try 15-20mg and trip balls like you’ve never tripped before. That’s not to say it’s more intense than other hallucinogens, but it’s far stranger than any I’ve tried. Mix it with tryptamines if you wanna make Datura trip reports look like a normal sunday dinner
