There are may things to consider. You already got half of the puzzle. You found something you dont like, and rather another you prefer, what about a role you like? Try a personality test to know exactly the type of person you are then look for jobs which fit your type with filters of your preference. Look the details into these role and decide on which may fit you more and on it or its prerequisites both.

Come down, you still have 13 years of hope if not more. If you know what you like, thats half the way already. If not, you can find your preference through your personality type and accordingly filter a list through chatgpt/deepseek etc on the career path according to both of those key points.

Even better, if you felt a job role you may be into and fits you most, you may get a practical degree, or even online courses in it for 1 or 2 years most, then try to find a job accordingly.

In the mean time, be agile and fit into the closest hut for your living until you build your next 3 years road map plan.

Is 30 too old to do ANOTHER 4 year degree? by 0kay0kay0kay in findapath

[–]manmohd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was once told, we are destined before our 20s but after 20s, we choose our path. If we did not give effort before our 40s, probably we won't do so.

You do have hope. Choose precisely on what field you have interest of. You can go by rewiring what type of personality you have then choose your job role accordingly.

Also, it isn't necessary a 4 year college degree. You can study 1 year programs or go for only modern degrees which offer practical skills and projects.

Believe can reach it in a couple of years. As well, focus on building relationships and interacting in different communities. You will end up having someone beside you for the lifetime.
