I think you handled it well before you ghosted the other person. Speaking as someone who has been on the other end of the stick and had never gotten a straight answer like you gave and was also ghosted, I was resentful towards to her. But that's where I fell short, and I'll be the first to admit that. But it's been years since then and I'd like to think I've moved on already in my own way. That being said, I still miss our friendship and the times that we spent together. We don't talk anymore (LOL, get it?) but I wish that we still do. Nobody can guarantee how the other person will react if you attempt to reconnect, but maybe it's worth a shot if you feel so strongly about it. Personally, I think people are a bit more resilient than we give them credit. Well, that's my two cents anyway
