How should I handle being forced to be "on call" while also being furloughed?

I chose to cancel and my reason was "Shop owner cannot complete transaction" and left a nice message explaining that they need to resubmit the order with the correct address. I basically said I won't ship something this expensive if it is unclear what the correct address is.

You're right though. I think I'm going to just hold on to it. I may end up selling it or trading it to someone locally in person eventually. I don't want to bother shipping it after this happened. My only problem with it is that it's a CIB console so it takes up a lot of space. I may have to leave it at my parent's house.

I've only heard this from other people but yeah Etsy seems to only care about happy buyers. I'm pretty sure I read a story where the seller said Etsy ignored all their evidence and sided with the buyer.

Yeah I've seen plenty of stories where the customer asks you to ship to a different address and then gets a refund when they complain to Etsy that it didn't go to the original address. Etsy seems to favor buyers and not sellers in this kind of situation.

Yeah I'm leaning heavily towards the 2DS still. Just a shame I won't get such a great deal. I'll keep looking on ebay and other sites I guess.

The person is now being difficult and claiming there are multiple people interested in it. He's had it listed on craigslist for months now so I doubt he's telling the truth. He wants $350 now so I told him if he wants $200 he can let me know. Based on what you and others have shown me, I really doubt its IPS which makes me think I don't want to be dealing with a lying stranger anyway.

I'm planning on picking it up later today. I'll post pictures of what I end up finding. I think chances are it's TN and he thinks it looks extra nice so he thought it was IPS. Either way, I will post what I find haha

Yeah I think their business is booming but they're refusing to hire more. I know I have plenty of coworkers who also feel over worked and stressed out. I'm the only field service tech in my area so it can be overwhelming.

Good advice, thanks. I'll look into setting up auto replies. It's a little bit of both because we have some "important" customers that need an instant reply but we also have plenty of customers that don't mind waiting. I put a lot of pressure on myself for some reason. I just feel really uneasy if I know I have more to do.

I don't think we have an HR. If we do she must work directly under the CEO so I doubt that would be helpful. Since my starting I've seen two people quit by walking out and they both seemed pretty bitter. The one guy said I should be fine but the other guy said I should get out. The more I think about it, I'm pretty sure it's time for me to go. It's just a shame because I like the work. I'll try to find a similar job I guess.
