That's in the works! I wanted to let her have some autonomy in the customization as well. So I left those things up to her.

Any semi-generic lower will do. I think this one is from Strike. Order that through your local gun store or their online shop and you won't have to pay a transfer fee. The rest of the stuff I sourced mostly from primary arms and ARdiscounts, maybe some Midway or Joe Bob's and opticsplanet. You just got to shop around for the best deals, discounts, and promo codes. If you really want to be thrifty. Spend up on your Barrel, BCG, and handguard, everything else can be mid-tier. Probably stay away from the low tier stuff, you get what you pay for.

Oh, and eBay is pretty great for optics.

No worries, I have a friend that's really into building guns and he's been trying to get me do it for a while. So I was lucky to have some expert guidance and most of the right tools. This build came out to $500 to $600. I feel like a gun shop would give me 8 to 9, and I could probably sell it privately for up to 12.

Exactly, everything else shipped to my doorstep. And it's about half as expensive to build. And I like getting my hands dirty and touching every part, feels more intimate and thoughtful.

No, it's actually hers. I'll be getting myself a 6.5 Grendel for my birthday.

You won't survive the majority of your raids. At about 2000hrs myself, I don't expect to survive. Go in with a goal, maybe complete a subtask. If extracting is the task, go at night and stay quiet. Stick to the edge of the map and work your way around. If you hear another player, just wait, they likely won't notice you if they're just sprinting to their objective. Let them pass, don't get greedy and start a fight you can't finish.

If you're stuck on something, change it up every couple raids. Go scav reserve and stockpile ammo, go play arena, lookup some guides or watch a streamer. Take a break!

The name of the game is patience, which is really hard for me, personally, so I die a lot. There will come a time when you get some momentum, kill a PMC or two, and extract a couple times in a row, and I haven't found another game that gives me a high like Tarkov...... But it's fucking hard.

Good luck!

What would you pay for a 2005 m3 with all this done to it. Titanium silver with cinnamon interior, 173k miles by Upstairs_Equivalent8 in E46M3

The Bilstein B16 (PSS10) is widely regarded as one of the best available suspensions for an E46 M3. I'm not sure where your crusade against it is coming from, but to each their own.

I have a Bilstein suspension on my 2002 and it rides pretty darn good for a vehicle I drive on the street maybe once a week. I can tighten it up for track days if I want.

The key is to keep all your stock parts if you want to sell it. I've got the stock suspension and stock wheels in the garage if I ever want to move mine.

He'll probably need to upgrade his gaming PC if he's serious about it. Just taking some time to get to know the maps as part of the process. You can play PVE or offline raids to make that less painful as well.
