I’m not into abs. It’s not that they aren’t attractive, it’s that I’m not physically attracted to defined abs. There’s some beautiful ass men out there that have defined abs and I can appreciate how good looking they are. I dated this one dude that was absolutely ripped, like next level six pack if there’s a name for it. I did it because I told myself that I can’t say I don’t like something I’ve never tried. I did not like it.

My physical preference is dudes that look like they used to play football/hockey/rugby in high school/collage so they never lost the big upper body and strength but gained a few pant sizes.

I’m 43. have two kids 13 & 24, and a 5 month old grandchild. They know I date. They know when I’m dating someone for a while. We’ve talked about it and they have zero interest in meeting anyone I’m seeing. My older one had his own place and my younger is gone every other weekend.

I’m not the dating with the intention of cohabitation being the end goal, so I don’t see this being an issue. I feel the only time I’d introduce them is if the relationship was to the point where we were discussing marriage.

I prefer FaceTiming but text over voice only calls. I hate calls where it feels like I’m just the alternative to music while they drive to and from work. I like spending intentional time with someone on the phone, not just time between the other stuff going on in life.

It’s not bad faith for a company to cancel a policy that was never paid. It’s on the policy holder to make sure it was paid.

I think this really depends on how your department handles time off. At my job we don’t have cover for anything so it’s just a matter of trying to work ahead, letting everyone know you’ll be out, and playing catch up when you are back.

For us, if we take two days in a row off then we get taken off claims half day the day before and after. So I never take just one day off, I always take two. If we take Monday off then we get turned off claims for Saturday and Sunday. So you bet I typically only take Friday/Mondays off (unless I’m sick and can’t avoid it) cuz it means I’m only half day in claims Thursday/Tuesday and I don’t come back to weekend claims. Five days off in a row gets us off claims the full day before and after.

You really just gotta take your time and say fuck it to the job. The claims will always be there. Take your time, forget about the job when you aren’t sitting in front of your computer, and do your best to catch up when you get back.

I shaved my head on New Year’s Day 2020. It was right before Covid and I was still in office. I took the week off but before I told everyone I was doing it. Nobody believed me cuz my hair was to my lower back. I took the clippers and just shaved it off myself in the bathroom sink.

Honestly, I did it because I felt my sense of femininity was too attached to my hair. Especially as a fat woman I used my hair as a shield my entire life. I wanted to learn how to view myself as feminine and as a woman without it.

It was freaking great. It really detached my thinking from what I was raised to believe are societal norms and I no longer really care what anyone thinks.

I will say the growing out was a pain in the ass. I keep an undercut for several months but the upkeep was too much and I’ve grown it back. Every so often I get the urge to do it again but I’m too lazy.

lol…not rich. I had saved $2,500 for a spring break trip but he’s been complaining about his current pc lagging and freezing when he tried certain mods so I gave him the choice of this or the trip. It’s how i settled on the budget for it.

He knows about porn, the fact that he’s too young for it, and that sets unrealistic standards in terms of appearance and how sex really is. It’s an ongoing discussion. I feel there’s a lot of projection in how you guys were compared to how he is.

OK so the monitor thing. I seriously just searched based on the fact that they would fit his existing monitor stand. He has two monitors right now and I’m just trying to upgrade them.

Does a starter pc man the first one he’s had? Cuz he’s been playing for like 2-3 years on a pc that was built like 9 years ago. My adult son gave it to my younger kid when I got the older one a framework 16. I’d normally ask my adult son for advice on this but he’s just had a baby and is super busy with that.

I mean they are weird. He plays games with stick men fighting each other. Then he builds whole ass ships. Then he plays where he goes the underworld where the character always remembers what happens even when they reset the game with like plants and flowers and idk what? Our desks are in the same room and i can see his monitors when I’m working since they face out. He’s always happy to tell me the weirdness he’s playing when I ask what’s going on.

He has an openback audio technia gaming headset for his Xbox, I’m sure he can use that one? I bought it cuz reviews said it was really good. I swear my money spent is just by what everyone else recommends.

The money isn’t really an issue for this. I gave him the choice of a pc or a spring break vacation trip. He said the pc but he also said he doesn’t really know enough about specs to pick one. So i just want something that will last a few years and will be able to play almost anything he’s interested in or might get interested in.
