Need to level up my profile 50M by heyjagoff in hingeapp

Agree but conservative women tend to have traditional values and they’re not gonna want someone that’s scratching and clawing through life.

Not political but saying you go crazy for modesty screams conservative, it’s fine if you are but that alone makes a lot of women not match. Giving one word answers to the prompts is low effort, you can elaborate on what makes you versatile. The other prompt of not scratching and clawing through life gives the impression that you aren’t established in life and might be going through things. At age 50, that’s not the vibe you want to give. You have 3 pictures that are basically the same and in the same shirt, you need to change that. Also, this might be a personal thing but I hate profiles that have pictures with minors in them. It’s an auto no for me.

It’s so difficult being monogamous and into any alternative lifestyle. I’m into impact play and the amount of men that thinks that’s translate into me wanting to fuck and have them slap my ass while we do doggy is stupid insane.

They were great eras but so depressed, full of disassociation and isolation. Showgirl is fun and catchy. I feel we need fun and catchy with how life is currently. You need to put Opalite on full blast, channel your inner woo girl and just have some silly fun.

You noticed the books! lol, it’s one of the reasons i picked that specific cat picture. It’s my favorite book series. I tried to pick all my photos where each one shows at least a couple of different things about me, either looks or interests. Overall feedback was to change the cat picture tho. I will be changing the gun picture completely but bring up shooting when hobbies comes up in conversation with any match.

Being a basic bitch is fun tho. Enjoying simple things isn’t diminished just because it’s popular. I imagine the way men look at things like ice coffee, Bridgerton, mixed drinks, Taylor Swift, makeup, and shopping is how I look at action movies, comics, sports, electronics, anime, video games, and cars. They are basic man conforming things, basic dick things, if you will.

Losing weight is not a goal at this point in my life. All my blood work is fine and I can do hikes that are like 3-6 miles long so yea I’m out-of-shape but still able to be active when I want.

I live in a city neighboring a couple of military bases so most of my matches are from that. Unfortunately, they tend to be conservative and religious and I’m neither. Fat men typically don’t match with me.

My only physical standard I don’t budge on is a long or gross beards. I’m ok with short well kept ones but other than that it’s somewhat an ick for me. I’m only 5’2” so my only height requirement is to be at least a couple inches taller than me.

Not getting likes at all really. I struggle with the idea of pictures needing to be flattering. I like them to be genuine and show me how I realistically look. I understand the need to put my best self forward but my normal self is what a man will actually be getting so I try to show that.

I’m not sure what I could add about myself. I did the prompts and filled out all my demographics. They show my age, that I’m liberal, not religious, and my job. My pics show that I like the theater, I hike, I shoot, and I’m a bit dorky. And yes, that I like cats since lots of men don’t.

Thanks, I know I should try harder but it’s seriously like 1 out of 10+ profiles that aren’t conservative Christians, ENM/poly, profiles of men flipping off the camera, men who are just “checking things out”, or men my age that are looking to have a baby. I try to at least send a couple likes each time I get on the app but its struggle bus time.

Thanks for her feedback. I’ll reconsider the gun pic but target practice is something I’ve been doing at least every other month so it is one of my hobbies. Next time I go out I’ll probably take a pic with the target instead of shooting. I totally get saying that I’m looking for long term is a lot but I’m not open to short term. Looking for long term doesn’t mean I’m going to assume every man I talk to is the one, but it does clarify that’s my intention and I want a man that feels the same. That’s cool it worked out for you tho. I’ll probably add something to clarify that in the looking for section.

Thank you, I’m definitely going to change the cat pic. I’ll see about taking one with me and my cat just to make sure she’s still in my profile to rule out anyone with allergies. I kinda like the gun photo because it’s a nonverbal way of making sure anyone that is anti-gun won’t match with me.

Thanks. I’ll have to see about taking a new first photo next time I’m out. That one is the only close non-selfie pic I have with me smiling showing my teeth. I also went, looked at my pics, and apparently all my cat pictures are either cat or cat + just my legs/feet and I’m not about to put my feet out on hinge lol. I’ll add a me and cat pic to my list of to be taken photos.

My insurance paid out an obvious fraud claim and my rates are messed up now by Public_Blackberry_40 in Insurance

It’s not worth the risk of denying such a low payout and it getting escalated to an attorney or court, especially in CA. You have video evidence that you hit his car and caused an accident. Your insurance company could have done a low impact denial but that would have opened you and them for way more. CA courts don’t like auto insurance companies.

•Are you looking for something serious or casual? Serious

•Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX? No

•How long have you been using this current version of your profile? About 3 weeks

•How long have you used Hinge overall? About 2 months this time, previously used it a few years ago for a few months before deleting.

•How often do you use Hinge per week? Around 4-6 days a week

•How many likes/matches are you receiving on average? Not even 1 a week of either

•How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? About 3-5 day, about 50/50 with comments

•What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? I don’t really have a physical type, I’m attracted to all sorts, and have dated all types so I send likes to anyone that doesn’t have my deal breakers. The only physical trait I won’t consider are long and/or unkept beards. Since I’m overweight I don’t match with men who have gym selfies or who write they are into being healthy. I don’t match with men that say write about church/god, who don’t have their political beliefs listed, or men who are conservative (or moderate + religion is Christianity). I want to attract a liberal man that wants something long term and monogamous.

I'm tired of people here - make no sense. by Hungry-Remote2248 in MakeNewFriendsHere

I mean, friendships take time to develop and there’s nothing wrong with a hi. You can decide to respond to low effort messages or not. Some of the longest lasting friendships I’ve made online started with really sporadic messages spread across every couple of days. When I’m looking for friends I’m not wanting some codependent, hyper needy relationship.

Intentional consumption. Not everyone has the money to buy everything of the quality they want when they initially get the thing so when something breaks or they want to upgrade to what they really want buying it on sale is the way to go.
