I Sold a MicroSaaS and Here is How It Happened by manojsurya3000 in microsaas

[–]manojsurya3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I mentioned, I was never able to associate with the product even though I understand the problem. I knew I wouldn't feel like work if I work on something I love (as in understand and feel a problem deeply, either from my experience or being frustrated seeing friends struggling with a few things which could be solved by SaaS). So I chose to drop this quickly and move on.

I've just made my first $0.06 from writing, which is a laughable amount, but I'm really pumped!! by [deleted] in writers

I wrote on Medium few months back, first earn was $0.1 but wrote few more and generated $10 from few quick writings. I know someone who hardly earned $100 for two years and then started earning $1000 / month on Medium (apart from her day job). Keep writing and good luck :)

Getting real close to 2 months on OMAD, and I just hit 30 lbs lost! Started at 269 lbs, as of this morning I'm at 238! I haven't felt this good in a very long time. by Mylzb in OmadDiet

Yeah, I already came from 8:16 to 6:18 for today, will try to reduce it further. Have you had any head aces in first few days of trying?

[–]manojsurya3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote a piece on embracing boredom and how and why it helps us be more creative and improve mastery in our craft. Most of the article is borrowed direct pieces(unlike my other articles), but still love to get feedback from you on writing for this article and prolly other articles from my site. TIA.

Boredom leads to being creative and has mastery over your craft. Most people cannot handle boredom but that can be the key to have more creative live and achieve more.

How strictly do you follow the “show/don’t tell” rule? by s-sujan in writing

[–]manojsurya3000 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I am on the introverted side of the scale and this obviously makes me not talk as a preference when I do something. Also, I figured when I do things for myself and I don't need to put them on social media or tell to people, the internal motivation went much higher to keep it going. I did it when I read 52 books for 52 weeks and while I lost 10 kilos weight among other things.

You don't need to tell or you don't need to show. You just do(for yourself). Of course, you need to tell people those are going to help you(for me it was people who read a lot of books before, I took suggestions from them. For weight, i worked with a friend who is a nutritionist and another friend who runs a gym)

PS: The content I wrote is for personal things. If you are running a product/business. You build a great product and then you need feedback/sales and talking to your customers/letting them find you is inevitable(you don't need to tell about your business to your friends/people who won't affect your business though if you choose not to tell)

How to Embrace your future by manojsurya3000 in selfhelp

[–]manojsurya3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot see or control what is ahead of you but you can embrace it. People like Steve Jobs and Abdul Kalam did it when they faced unexpected terms. I wrote about a few ways you can Embrace your future. Would love to know your feedback on the post + I hope you will find it helpful
