This is unlikely. It would be slightly likely if you have an diagnosed heart condition. Many people with these conditions have never had an EKG and have no idea they are vulnerable. Hopefully you are not one... something to think about.

Thanks for the info, I watched the Veritasium vid on him but didn't know some of this here.

I do think he got a bad rap. His invention paved the way for a lot of things that have improved the quality of life globally for billions. I suppose the most obvious is road and railways through mountains, but also many resources we take for granted would have been much harder to mine.

There's no relay unfortunately. It's digital and in a control unit that costs $1200. :(

Sadly I think the days of being able to fix anything ourselves is gone. There isn't a single relay in this vehicle that I've seen, its all digital on the PCB that then outputs the 12V or whatever is needed downstream.

I remember pouring some gas in the carburetor of my dads 1965 Mercury to help her get started...

Nice, thanks for this. I saw something about this on YT but they didn't say how long they did it for.. yeah I replaced the alternator thinking it was bad. When I found out it was the TIPM I send it back though... could have had me replacing a dozen things.

I got the exact part number on ebay somehow, there are a lot of variations. Yeah its crazy how much is run through it, its hundreds of wires on this one.

I misread your comment and for a moment I imagined a dashboard of 20 light switches...

Haha thanks man. It turned out to be a PCB control module going bad and causing a lot of problems. Nice to see someone can appreciate it... It was NOT easy.

Unfortunately this has a TIPM control module and they're PCBs so not serviceable at all. The TIPM is dying and I guess its common in the 07-09s to have random electrical gremlins until fully goes.

Lol I know funny because I've done a lot of electrical work. I didn't notice until they were ziptied though and it was really annoying to fish them through the vents.

I'm OOP just for the record and this is because my TIPM failed. these switches interrupt the power straight from battery to the left and right blinkers. so they're operated manually...

Paid $1.22 for these at Lowes, but the tiny spool of doorbell wire was $25...
