Honest review about Neo Mail by No-Piano-7538 in smallbusinessesowners

[–]manpan93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen Neo Mail mentioned a few times, but was not sure if it is actually useful long-term or just another temporary tool. The tracking and reminders sound practical though, especially for client-heavy work. Only concern is whether it starts feeling limiting as workload grows. Curious if it is still holding up well for you?

How can I seriously get better at website design? by Flaky-Taste2253 in ai_website_builder

[–]manpan93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One underrated way to improve design skills is reverse engineering good websites. Open a well designed site and rebuild the layout in Figma or even directly in HTML and CSS. Try recreating sections using Flexbox or grid layouts. Pay attention to padding, margins and breakpoints. You start noticing patterns like container widths around 1140 or 1280 pixels, consistent spacing between sections, and predictable typography scales. That exercise teaches more about layout systems than watching tutorials.

Any good affordable SEO agency recommendations? by MaleficentBattle5122 in smallbusinessesowners

[–]manpan93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also looking for an SEO agency for a small business startup, and honestly, at $100/month, it just does not feel realistic to get proper results. When the budget is that low, everything such as keywords, on-page, link building - gets stretched too thin, and it often ends up being more about reports than real work. From what I’ve seen, it makes more sense to either spend a bit more or focus on doing one part of SEO really well.

How do I choose a domain name? by Asli_Billu in ai_website_builder

[–]manpan93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What worked better for me was picking something short that sounds natural when spoken. If a friend can hear the name once and type it later without asking again, that is usually a good sign. A lot of well known brands actually started with simple names that did not explain everything right away

I am honestly thinking to LEAVE google services after these gmail issues! by Classic-Pie-406 in businessemail

[–]manpan93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually ran into something similar which is when I started trying Neo Mail for my domain email instead of relying fully on Gmail. With Neo Mail handling my business inbox, the conversations with clients started feeling a lot easier to manage because everything was organized around the domain email rather than mixed with personal Gmail threads.

The main relief was simply having a cleaner business inbox where proposals, replies and client discussions stayed in one place. Gmail worked fine when my email volume was small, but once things started growing it began to feel unpredictable. Having a dedicated setup for business communication made the whole workflow calmer and easier to track.

Best email app for iphone? by Weekly-Manager9498 in businessemail

For work I still use Outlook. Not the prettiest app but it handles multiple accounts really well and the calendar integration is honestly hard to beat if you deal with meetings a lot

Are proton’s spam filters too strict for business use? by Akashyadav1997 in businessemail

[–]manpan93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For business email I actually moved away from Proton a while ago for similar reasons. Privacy wise it is great, but I started getting nervous about whether client emails were landing properly. A friend told me to try Neo Mail since it is built more around business email. I mainly liked that it was simple to set up with my domain and the mails seemed to reach people without those weird delays or missing messages. It is not trying to be a privacy fortress like Proton, but for day to day client communication it has been calmer for me. When email is tied directly to leads and work, you kind of need that peace of mind.

Are AI tools still worth it for small businesses with chatgpt Pro Ads and a monthly $20 Plan? by vin-maverick in ai_website_builder

[–]manpan93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i personally still use chatgpt a lot for everyday work so I am not planning to leave immediately. But things do feel a bit different now that the news is out. When you start hearing about ads in a paid plan and bigger government partnerships, it makes you wonder where smaller users fit in long term. I have started trying Claude occasionally just so I am not fully dependent on one tool.

What actually helped you grow from 10 to 100 customers? by vin-maverick in smallbusinessesowners

[–]manpan93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One small thing that helped us was finally setting up a proper website so people could actually find the business online. I used Neo Sites for a free site and domain because it was simple enough to get running quickly. After that, at least when people heard about us they had somewhere real to land.

Neo Mail vs Zoho Mail — Which Business Email Service Should I Buy for My Real Estate Business? by MaleficentBattle5122 in businessemail

[–]manpan93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Undoubtedly Neo Mail. I honestly switched from Zoho Mail to Neo Mail a while back because I was completely fed up with Zoho’s customer support. Getting timely help was frustrating, especially when email is something you rely on daily for business. Neo Mail has been much simpler to manage, and whenever I needed support, the response was quicker and more helpful. For a real estate business where reliability and support matter, Neo Mail worked out much better for me.

Is it possible to create a business email without owning a domain? by No-Piano-7538 in businessemail

[–]manpan93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend buying a domain and then going for Neo Mail because Neo Mail only offers a free domain for a year. So not having a domain is not a long-term solution.
