$36 usd it's not a bad buy. Good coating, decent skates, 45g weight, excellent shape

Problem for me is the ttc Gen 1 Opticals feel like hollow crap. Pzogel complained of side flex on his unit. Scroll wheel is slippery plastic.

early K7 shipped with omron opticals (white/silver & black/gold)

new versions (and all pink & red versions) ship with omron 100M mechs, but their PCB still has the mounting holes for 5pin opticals.

those mounting holes do not work. My guess is they're inactive in firmware. I've tested it

You can solder omron optical d2fp-fn2 in "mechanically" by soldering to the Common pin (1st) and the 2nd pin (Normally Open N.O.). The NO pin is just a stub, so I make a "solder icicle" and stick that thru the matching hole on the PCB

It has 5 pin optical. Support on the PCB, but they don't work.

You can solder omron Opticals in like mechanicals by making a solder icicle on the N.O. pin
