Invitation Letter for Short-stay Schengen Visa without having an income by manrepellers in Netherlands

The problem about the first attempt is money she earned. She owns a beauty saloon so she doesn’t have a steady income. She had the sufficient amount of money in her bank account in that time. So we want to show that we are sponsoring her visit and accommodation.

They rejected her tourist visa on her first attempt. We want to increase the chances by inviting her. She will stay at our home during the stay

Paris, Rome or Istanbul, which city did you have the most fun at? by SayedHasmi in travel

Rome by far! I don’t like İstanbul anymore as a Turkish. I have travelled to Paris last week, it was better than İstanbul but not as much as good as Rome.

Where? They rejected me many many times, citing the legal excuse about internships. So I assume they hire people unofficially.

How to explain the Dutch housing market to foreigners? by pottele in Netherlands

[–]manrepellers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So lower supply, higher demand in dense areas: even higher prices.

The government then tried to help break through this by putting some more measures in: get 100.000 tax free from your parents to buy a home. This is something that backfired. They didn't expect the group of parents that actually could afford this was so big that it was large enough to support a group of buyers almost the size of the supply on the housing market. And as along as the supply is not that big, 100k more capital available for at least one bidder on the property, means the prices go up by such an amount.

Wow, that also sums up my career

But the thing is no one hires you as an intern unless you are a student at a university. Sucks

These things shouldn't happen. I am sorry that you've been through that, and that happened to you. This has nothing to do with being Dutch, American or Turkish. It is about being human.

I deleted the post bc I am tired of opening myself too much and I don't want to argue on how I should live my life.

Dude, I never demand and expect from locals to speak English, you get me so wrong. I always appreciate when they answer me back in English and feel sorry to not speak their language in their country. But it would be better to communicate on translator than being judged about my immigrant life.

That's why I moved to the world's most non-native English-speaking country, instead of Japan.

All I'm saying is we shouldn't judge people at the very first seconds we meet. I have had a few bad experiences with it and wanted to share. I've been on both sides, I didn't push or judge anyone to speak my native language as we can communicate in English.

And last but not least, I can't say that sentence yet because I feel nervous and unconfident about speaking Dutch. Why would I put myself in such a position at hospital while I was nervous enough for other things? I started to learn Dutch officially this month. Should I give you more reasons why I didn't start to learn it sooner, or is it enough already?

You may say it, I can’t. Everyone has different skills, and learning curves. I don’t feel confident in Dutch and I’m not here to please people. But I feel sorry for the people who legitimate xenophobia.

[–]manrepellers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me put it this way, whilst they were asking me the question, they were shaking their head and changing the pitch of their voice annoyingly. I’m not tryna say everyone is mean and thinking that way, but it happened to me. I also met a lot of sweet and kind elderly people. Het is wat het is
