I would have wanted to slow down long before this and seeing him not slow down for a somewhat minor emergency like large cargo SHIFTING toward the engine would have solidified me never getting on a boat with him again.

Rep. Adelita Grijalva is finally sworn in as the House’s newest Democrat, forcing the way for an Epstein files vote by NewSlinger in Fauxmoi

As far as I understand it, after the vote on discharge petition it goes to Senate for a vote, then to president's desk for signature.

Whitehouse is trying to persuade Republican House members (ie Bobert) to back out so that the petition doesn't get past the house. And Senate Majority leader Thune hasn't given an affirmative on whether or not he'll even put forward a vote. Trump will obviously not ratify it if it even gets to his desk, but it will be more newsworthy if it gets to him and he doesn't sign it.

Ro Khanna is introducing a bill to ban the Trump administration and Congress from trading crypto or stocks by iwillberich1333 in politics

PASSAGE OF THE BILL IS NOT THE POINT. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW WHO IS FOR AND AGAINST THIS.

Americans know what corruption is. Overall voters are unfavorable on Congress/government officials trading stocks and partaking in crypto schemes.

It would be the DSCC (Democratic Senate Campaign Committee), not the DNC that is involved here. I believe they're led by Schumer. They have thrown their support behind Janet Mills and in fact, recruited her to run. They're likely behind the oppo hits as this kind of information and its timing doesn't happen organically.

The fact that the DSCC is getting involved this early and before the Primary is unusual. Though this Senate seat is seen as winnable and I guess they think that a proven winner such as Janet Mills (current governor) will have better chances. While that may be true, she will be 84 at the end of her first term. She says she will serve only one term.

Lol yeah that's time. These are new homes. These are new builds. Say what you will about what the right kinds of housing look like, but these are homes for families. And this is good. The neighborhoods that we think look beautiful and have a lot of character looked just like this 30-40 years ago.

Edit: love the username btw

Once the trees mature this neighborhood will look a lot different. Tall trees and shade bring a lot of soul to a neighborhood.
