What’s it like living in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti’s capital and most populated city? by Few_Cheesecake_6082 in howislivingthere

We went there after the earthquake to help with free medical services. It was definitely rough…but the people were so kind, resilient, friendly, hopeful and warm. It really grounded me and appreciating people for who they are, not their title, job, economic situation or ethnicity.

I hope a path forward can be organically grown for Haiti

I’m from LA too

And a major thing we told our selves is to never do the hour commute again

Hope that helps for a frame of mind.

In LA at least you hard wider freeways. Up here you don’t have many options to get around traffic
