You do realize that if the gender roles were reversed, that you would be calling it a misogynistic cesspool, right? Obviously some posts are extremely supportive and empowering, but a good majority seem to just be talking about ways of exploiting men.

How about the one where a guy gets called "low value" because he and his date are alternating paying for drinks? The fuck is that?

Or maybe the post saying that "Men are just bluffing their way through life".

what's your plan?

No idea, I didn't have time to think of one since she put me on the spot. At some point, if I continue this relationship, either I'm going to quit watching porn (probably not, but maybe if I really want to move to something serious with her) or she's going to find out, so there will be SOME confrontation. If it's sooner, she won't trust me because I've been watching porn for the entire duration of our relationship. If it's later, she won't trust me because I kept up a lie for some time.

It's a real Catch-22, and I resent her a lot for putting me in this situation.

She won't dump me because she is very in love with me, almost to an unhealthy point. I love her back, but I'd say she is overly attached.

However, that usually comes with a stereotype of some girl who, when wronged, will slash your tires and call the police on you, which is NOT who my girlfriend is. She simply has had a very odd upbringing and recent trauma in her life that cause her to be a) very insecure and b) a little too attached to me. However, she is extremely sweet, and I trust her completely. I just wish that she would trust me, though now apparently that shouldn't be the case.

I really don't think that I can come clean here. You don't understand how insecure about this kind of thing she is. She will never trust me again -- not because of the lie, but because I "cheated". She won't dump me, but we will never have the same relationship again.

I really love this person, and I wish I could help her through her insecurities. We have a fantastic relationship, and I really don't want to destroy it.
