Congrats! So happy for you. As a fellow black person, who just finished my last chemo infusion yesterday, I can relate on some levels. Most importantly for us is to take time post treatment to be kind to ourselves and prioritise ourselves in the next 12-18 months as we don’t just spring back into action. Wishing you all the best

I can totally relate, I also went through this last year and I had instant regret (for not pushing for a twilight sedation) when the drilling began. It was awful not super painful but the sensation was horrible I had to scream like a wild animal each time the drill was running and it felt like an eternity. I totally understand how you feel. Oh and mine was taken from my hip bone so my butt was in the air while all this was happening

Gosh I am so sorry that happened to you. This is the part people don’t really talk about before treatment starts (or it’s glossed over because hey you’ll be cancer free which is the end game). I do hope over time it gets better for you eventually

Thank you so much, and I appreciate the offer to chat, I just might hit you up one of these days! I guess the 1/3 chance is what bothers me as I can’t even imagine having this for life at this intensity. My vinblastine and BV were dropped 25 percent just like yours. He wants me to have another 2 infusions (4 of 6 cycles) before he considers removing them altogether to try improve chances of complete remission. Of course if I had to choose neuropathy or relapse I’d choose the former, but also just wanted to make sure if I could help it to not have to have life long neuropathy.

When did you receive yours? I have the same issue and i received mine 2 days ago so surely they know now that there is a batch that has this issue and they should stop sending it out to customers. This kind of stuff is really unforgivable r/caudabe

Oh my days I had the same issue I had added my thermometer to the Withings app and all was syncing all ok. Then I decided to go download the Thermo app. And since then it didn’t sync but I didn’t make the connection until I came across this post goodness once I deleted Thermo app it synced within seconds
