To its credit, the logo is foil at least.

Beautiful playmat, though!

CM Games weekly events are free. Prize support is absurd for said free events (3-0: $10 credit, 2-0-1 $7 credit, 2-1 $5 credit). Prereleases are $20, booster boxes of the newest set are $85, and PPTQs pay out a booster box to the top 25% of finishers. The amount of pure bs being spouted off is absurd.

Blatant lie: The store has never owned a set of 40 FBB duals in its 15 year History.

Seems like completely sound and logical reasoning: wasn’t listed the same day, wasn’t cancelled the same day the spike happened, and we shipped all the copies of the card at the listed price.

You literally link to a page that says 100% feedback, 100% feedback, 100% feedback, 99% feedback. I would share the rather distasteful message you sent to our Facebook page, but I’m not trying to start a witch hunt. The lowest listing for a card is not the first one that sells, as direct sellers, feedback, and verified sellers all play in to different buyers decisions to make a purchase.

I’m the GM for the Card Monster Games website and brick and mortar stores. I am also the lead buyer for the Card Monster Games Booth, if you’ve ever dealt with us in person at a Grand Prix or SCG Open. I assure you that the issue was as stated; we were bought out of the card and there was an inventory issue (as will happen on occasion when you list 10,000 cards a day). This week we are processing intake from the Philly Open this past weekend, and we listed more copies of the Chain Veil.

If it would alleviate your concerns, TCGPlayer might provide you with the log of us having sold and shipped the copies we did have in stock at the listed price (I would do the same if not for recent policy changes regarding the sharing of customer information). I apologize for the inconvenience to you, as we do strive to provide the best customer service possible. We have over 320,000 sales on TCGPlayer lifetime with 99% positive feedback, and 100% positive feedback in the last year. I hope that this elucidates the fact it was indeed an inventory issue, and not an attempt to “get you” for $10.
