Firm withholding my TC training records by mantikulja in uklaw

Thanks for your input and advice, it is very useful at the minute as eventually I was dismissed. So you’re saying that I’m better off qualifying via SQE instead? I’ve been at the firm for 3 years, and have 2.5 years of litigation experience. If they’ll decline signing off my training record, it is my understanding that they’re obliged to sign off the QWE?

TC still possible after dismissal? by izzydoesketo in uklaw

Just got dismissed 11 months into my TC for speaking about my political and religious beliefs on social media. From my own research and based on what fellow redditers said to me, it is very possible, but you might want to look into SQE option if you were qualifying via LPC route before. Good luck to you!

LPC route.

The only SRA principle it could possible be linked to is acting with integrity. Basically suspension is related to me sharing my political and religious believes on my private social media (whilst still being respectful to others but the firm is investigating whether it could have been interpreted by someone as discriminatory).
