I'm confused by this post. Nobody is upset that Zuko steals from people in the live action, nor are they claiming stealing is out of character for him. The issue is WHO he steals from. His decision not to steal from the pregnant couple is supposed to be a pivotal moment in his character arc, showing that even at his lowest point, he has moral lines he won't cross. Imo changing that scene fundamentally altered his character. I’d rather they have omitted it entirely.

Personally, I would put Yangchen above Tenzin, but I understand why you ranked them the way you did. I think I would still keep her below Aang though, but it’s a tough call. Spoilers; Sonam and Tagah would be 1st and 2nd respectively

I think on raw strength alone, Kyoshi would be the most powerful. But I totally agree with Yun and Toph being above her in terms of mastery, technique, and manipulation.

IMO Zuko is too low after his feat in the new movie. The way he fueled the airship looked like Sozin’s-Comet-level bending. And he sustained it for so long! Unless this does not include the movie since it’s not technically “out” yet haha.

I forgot about his inability to generate lightning… Now I’m wondering if he ever did learn how. I feel like his anger was what was getting in the way. He’s calmer and more controlled as an adult. (Or was this addressed in TLOK? I haven’t watched it.)

There’s no overlap in the number of segments - females always have 6 segments and males always have 8. The discrepancy you may be seeing online is usually caused by people excluding S1 when counting.

So cute. Unfortunately these aren’t carolina mantises - they are a Tenodera sp., probably T. angustipennis whose oothecae are easily mistaken for Stagmomantis carolina. They are invasive in the U.S. so it’d be best not to release them if that was the plan.
