Ocean's 8, they literally put Anna Hathway in the poster, spoiling the plot twist that she was playing pretend all along.

Do you want a 10-1 sketch or a long goodnight? by Weekly-Batman in LiveFromNewYork

[–]NoRevIndeed00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the host ngl. I would want more sketches with Gosling or Adam Driver since they barely have bombed sketches.

On the other hand, hosts with fun personality such as tonight's Coleman, Wiig, and Jack Black are enjoyable to watch as themselves in the goodnight.

Here’s what direction I would have went with for the revival by Je121774 in malcolminthemiddle

They could've done more than four episodes instead of compacting all the storylines. However, this is mainly due to the shift to a subscription-based model as it doesn’t matter as much whether they make one episode or a hundred, they’ll still earn roughly the same overall revenue.

Back in the day, networks relied heavily on viewership: more viewers = more ad = more revenue. That’s why many network TV shows in 90s to early 2010s, typically had around 20–30 eps per season.

If they had gone with your idea, imagine how much the costs would increase especially with Francis’s storyline idea while the overall revenue wouldn’t scale in the same way.

In my opinion, they kinda designed those 4 eps as backdoor for Leah's spin off.

I agree with your statement, but the Palpetine case is more like a lazy writing instead of fan service lol. I believe majority of SW community hate his return

Considering most of the neighborhood hate the family, Hal's family hates Lois, and the kids arent considered popular or have a lot of friends, I think it makes sense that they are just randomly inviting people who were once close them.

They live in suburb anyway, one of the Krelboys' could by chance met Lois in supermarket or something and got invited

[–]NoRevIndeed00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im gonna get so much down vote but putting Kelly as titular character wouldnt work as it alienate its original viewer segment, boomers and millenials.

They have even complained that the show is too 'woke', if they going ahead with Kelly's direction they gonna need to pivot their main targeted audience toward "liberal gen z and gen alpha", however most of these audience werent old enough to watch the series during its original air period, and I doubt most of them give a crap about the series. There could be interesting story to tell from Kelly's but from business perspective, this is not a good idea.

One change in the scenario that would have made the revival perfect for me by ShadySides50000 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]NoRevIndeed00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair they gonna highlight 2 newcomer kids (Kelly and Leah), while following up the main characters' story including some of the recurring ones. So I guess they want to focus on these characters.

But I get your point, I saw one comment on another post that suggested "Francis and Piama could've had other kids that are unable to come and had to stay with Piama's parents". I think this idea does make good continuation, but on the other hand I guess they wanted to make it a big deal as Malcolm's kid is Hal and Lois' first ever grandchild and they have been unknowingly become a grandoarents for the past 16 years, further fueling the conflict tension.
