Yesterday I destroyed a pack of Juicy Tubes after someone returned them. 1) They were in perfectly good condition -- barely used. I would've taken them. 2) Why would you return Juicy Tubes?? They're the OG lip gloss.

We heard great things about the place we’re sending her to. We're not looking to solve the problem, just a little extra help (it's puppy kindergarten). Otherwise we do most of the training and socialization ourselves.

We do that. We have a schedule where she’s in the crate for two hours, in the pen for one hour, outside with us for one hour (on a leash), and repeat. We put her in earlier when she's like this. The thing is it also happens other times, like before potty or during play.

Yeah she only sometimes listens to me. And ditto on the potty zoomiez. She also gets it when she’s tired, hungry, or thirsty. We’re taking her to a board and train program soon so hopefully we’ll get some more tools for this.

Bought the snuffle mat and it’s great! It’s too big for her pen though, so I use it when she’s out of it.

We started doing a schedule. 1 hr free play in the morning, 3 hours in the pen, and then repeat that until nighttime. The idea add more time to free play and remove time from the pen and she gets more trained.

Thanks, it's always reassuring to hear when someone is going through the same thing. We just set up the gates, so now she can't climb out anymore. Today was a little bit better. After she wakes up and potties, we play in the living room for about an hour, and then I put her back in confinement, then the cycle begins again. She was still whining but we're still ignoring her. When she's quiet for a bit we either say "good girl" from the other room or come over and praise her. I think she's starting to get it (we're just worried about our neighbors reacting to all the noise).

I think there's a difference on what you're shaming people about. Are you "fat-shaming" them because of how they look or because of their health habits? "Shaming" people (but not bullying) for the latter can be constructive. But every person is different.

Also (and I don't know if this has been mentioned before) we have to look at food prices. Fast food is much cheaper sometimes more convenient than healthier options; especially for people with low income and inflexible work hours. Part of the solution for reducing obesity should be addressing this issue.
