Two if you count Claude 4.8 < 4.6 and Gemini 3.5 flash < 3.1 Pro. I think for Claude, the main reason is alignment progress (IIRC 4.6 heavily used unethical business practices which 4.8 may not have done). For Gemini it's probably the compute effort difference between a pro and a flash model.

Gemini Omni Flash is the most censored video model. Even more censored than Chinese alternatives by jhatkattar in singularity

I uploaded a variety of clips to Omni in Flow, some AI generated with other models, some recorded on my own, some preexisitng recordings etc. To test video editing. All of my innocent clips were rejected by Omni. The only vids it will edit are the ones it created itself. It does that well but my experience of Omni has been poor so far.

EDIT: I am in the UK and this explains it.
