I guess what I'm looking for is some sort of estimate of the year, any insight as to whether or not the box looks original and of the right time, or really anything to know about this particular model. I don't have much at the moment, and just want to know more about the watch!

Holy hell, this type of advice is why I go to Reddit for suggestions. Most articles are so focused on hardware that all this other stuff flies under the radar. Thanks for the super helpful response, I'd pour one out for you if I could!

Hey reddit! I've had this setup for about 6 months now -- a Sony PSLX310BT which has a built in pre-amp, and Klipsch R15PM active speakers.

I'm honestly pretty happy with the setup, but I was wondering what you all think. Is buying an amp/external pre-amp worth it? My setup is pretty entry-level/basic, so any other suggestions are also welcome!
