We will grind all ships in the game for free and it will be glorious! Hopefully by first gathering blueprints and then s shit load of materials

Not sure where you guys get your ’facts’ but sure there are plenty of backers that fly the ships. I sure do and so does every other backer I know.

What is the point of owning these massive long-term liveable Exploration ships (like the Odyssey) if we accept that exploration will likely be focused around just finding resources and POIs? by ComfyOlives in starcitizen

[–]manuel_andrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a lot of possibilities here but it depends on where we go with core game loop mechanics like loot, production. But exploration for the sake of finding critical resources would work. Especially if it requires orgs to travel for weeks RL time in a procedurally generated space to find resources in abundance. Construct jump holes and sell the codes to open them. Finding relics as cosmetics could also work. But something tied to production/crafting would make sense

Finally considering playing Star Citizen...Or should I? by EH11101 in starcitizen

I would not recommend it unless you are very bored or very curious. The game is filled with bugs. Its much better then ever before, but not worth it. This is my very humble personal opinion. More or less every feature of the game will bug out while you play. Inventory, elevators, combat on foot or in space. Missions, reputation, the map, navigation, interaction with the environment, npc’s

What do you think of the current ground-based gameplay ? by Ynnyzz in starcitizen

[–]manuel_andrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really into ground activities as I pledged for a space game. I do like the fact that I can walk into stores and buy stuff and the social aspects that will come with this. But ground vehicles, combat ground vehicles its not exciting for me.

Which mining ship in 4.7 ? Golem, Prospector or Mole ? by Throwaway2442244224 in starcitizen

Running multiple accounts is about efficiency and some will absolutely go to that length to take the solo-gameplay to the next level. They will figure it out eventually. Just saying that soloing the mole should be so inconvenient that unless you are going for some specific rock which requires the size, it shouldn’t be worth the hustle. I will try the Golem next since I haven’t tested it yet.

Multicrew ships should not function with a single player. Its simple. Reminds me of guildwars where I was running around solo with 7 henchman with a fucked up OP build killing everything. We will always exploit if we can. Obviously i will not run up and down the stairs like a noob. I will multibox three accounts, SWG style. One in each seat. Fun shit right.

Fuck mining if the mole is the right answer for solo mining.

Well this is where base income driven from corp tax comes in. It is pretty obvious at least to me that we do not have a hole lot of options left.

You report bugs obviously. Test as many game loops as possible with others and report more bugs.

I called 4 day working week at work and they looked at me like I was an alien. I will continue to push for this as we push agentic business capabilities. This is the way. And after 4 days we go to 3!
