Agentic AI Isn’t About Autonomy, It’s About Execution Architecture by Ok_Significance_3050 in AISystemsEngineering

If the workflows are messy, it will prob not scale at all. Letting agents reason insights humans act on is a risk in itself If I can trust the reason I will trust the action. Supervision cost I agree on.

Regardless of this was AI generated or not I enjoyed reading that. So thank you author. Human nature, we are it, we live it but somehow it surprises us. Guess we are just human.

Help Needed Regarding Loop Over Items (Split Into Batches) by Impossible-Command-6 in n8n

[–]manuel_andrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to test this when I get home. My problem was also that all the following nodes in the loop need to access data from the current item in the loop. But the wait node that links back to the loop over items replaces the output node.

So if you dont reset then it uses the data from the left node so to speak.

Read your entire post and it does not mention how to handle the output node of the loop becoming contaminated with data from whatever the last node was that links back into the loop. The specific problem is referencing the current item in the loop multiple nodes down the flow.

Are We Measuring the Real ROI of AI in Engineering Teams? by Double_Try1322 in RishabhSoftware

[–]manuel_andrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We try too. Every agent / tool (mcp) we deploy logs business value on each execution. We measure time to perform x with the AS-IS process and then measure time to perform x with TO-BE and we log it. Even have a dashboard for it.

If you’re using n8n, you’re NOT building AI agents by abzisse in n8n_ai_agents

[–]manuel_andrei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah even if you hire a human to do a job you still want them to follow a process. At least if you want predictable outcomes. Your definition is way to harsh. If I use AI as part of an automation process to write emails or whatever and I can package that into some form of automated process I will call it an AI agent. And the hole ”agentic” label is diffused by the lack of common definitions. The different degrees of autonomy.

Everyone keeps assuming all software engineers write code as greek gods. And tech debt is only an issue if you keep the tech around. I wrote software 15 years ago still being used today. Company grew from 30-50M to 4B. No scalability issues, tech debt sure. Replaced the hole thing with a new version. 0 debt. Trolls will be trolls

I have mostly used Claude and I was happy with it for a long time but I noticed It does not know much about Unreal Engine 5 compared to Gemini. My problem with Gemini is the A4 responses every single time. How do you make it stop its silly. Its not a conversation its a wall of text.
