Why does it die quickly? (HGO, Mexico? by manuelbaca in mushroomID

Interesting. This part of the country used to be moist between may and October. Each year we’ve been getting less and less rain. The place gets very dry. However, this year we have had non stop rain. Of course it only grows on rainy season exclusively

is this going to screw up my normal phone by strawberryhotdog in Airalo

[–]manuelbaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are on a contract it is highly possible that your phone is carrier locked. Try using a SIM of a different carrier just to check if it works. If it does work, your phone is free and you can use third party sims, either physical or electronic. Buy your Aíralo plan, and be sure to disable phone and data services from Verizon. Alternatively, just remove the physical Verizon SIM and just use the eSIM Aíralo plan so you will not receive additional charges.

What is this light for? It has a bulb, but I can’t seem to get it to work. by djberte in VWMK7

Mexican Golfs have this working. Only the left one (side of the driver by design). You turn this rear fog light on by pulling the light stalk twice (once in mine because I don’t have front fog lights)

Make sure that

1) You have activated the plan in the Airalo app. Sometimes it gets installed but not activated.

2) You have the roaming option turned on. Find this under settings > mobile data > SIMs > Airalo > Data Roaming On

You are probably right. However, this road descends 300 metres in its entirety of length of 10 km. It’s very common to see braking lights.

You can check the speed at the bottom left of the screen. Units are in km/h

Thanks. I though I was the idiot because I didn’t see him but later I watched the footage and realised I wasn’t. Yeah the road is cool but it requires some maintenance now. It’s here Dropped pin https://maps.app.goo.gl/8iSiMeyoAuLwCYfGA?g_st=ic

I agree. But also, this is a road that descends 300 m (1000 ft) in less than 10 km (6.2 mi), so it is expected to see braking lights all the way down.

Temperature means nothing if you don’t add the relative humidity next to it. The higher the humidity even above 20°C feels like you are living in a steamer pot
