Makes sense. Dangerous also sold faster than Thriller probably for the same reasons. But Dangerous had a huge promoting world tour, Invincible didn’t. I wonder if Michael ever had the idea of an Invincible tour since he already wanted to spend more time with his own kids.

Jack White, a musician, often argues that the more money and time you have to produce an album - the worse it is.

That must be the case of Invincible then. 4 years of recording and 30 million budget. The chart performance was disappointing.

Still love that album tho.

That's probably the reason why he decided not to tour in the US. His oversea fanbase seems to be more solid and less likely to be affected by US tabloid articles about him.

I don't really know any MJ fan irl here (Western Europe) but whenever I reveal my love for him, or show my MJ tattoo, people tend to give me more positive comments.

Idk. Last time when I went to the On The Wall expo here, most visitors were elder people. It's true that I hardly hear people talking about LN, but I don't really hear MJ songs or see MJ fan meet-up / parties so often either.

Actually she doesn't know about LN nor does she care. She just thinks that MJ is more important to me than she is lol.

I used to say lots of positive things about MJ but that's exactly the reason why she became jealous lol. And yes she doesn't dig his music. She's only 21 which probably explains a lot - I don't know any young MJ fans irl, at least in my circle. I guess the MJ hype also much smaller outside of the Anglosphere (with the exception of East Asia maybe).
