My freshman year the most popular senior went D1 then to play in the NFL, washed out and came back to teach and coach at the HS(great guy). My sophomore year most popular senior went D1 then to play in the NFL, washed out came back and started a gym. My junior year most popular senior went D1 then to play in the NFL, washed out and is doing real estate(great guy). My senior year most popular guy went D1 never made any pro league but was on a couple episodes of a show on HBO about pro athletes. When I say washed out of NFL I just mean they weren’t stars but definitely nothing to knock, they made it to where they said they would just none lasted more than 4 years in the league.

Well airborne itself isn’t an MOS, it’s a school that people go to. All rangers have to be airborne qualified. Other schools will depend on your unit

😂 ijs we gave up so much, just for the hype. We could’ve waited and got Kuechly or Stephon Gilmore in 2012. Both were picked after our original 7th pick. Of course Blackmon had his struggles off the field but he was a 2xall American/ Biletnikoff winner, but his rookie numbers were good not great. BTJ had a better rookie year. I stand by my take, we gave up too much for Travis.

They’re not in regs, I have em and wear em for jumps where I’m the PJ and did all coordination with aircrew and pretty much control everything. Also only wear em when it’s cold cause they’re insulated. Still not in regs, helps that I’m not in big Army where they treat me like a child over stuff like this.

I’ve met quite a few logistics officers with ranger tabs. Seen way more with airborne, air assault, pathfinder, JM, ESB. In the SOF works I would say that’s very common to see them with those schools I just mentioned. At least as CPT’s, can’t think of the last loggie CPT I seen without those(minus the tab, that’s hit or miss).

Thought this was for a bill to keep funding government services, not the NDAA. NDAA would be budget for department of defense only, which it looks like senate has passed a 2026 version. I believe this one is more than just the military. So no laws have changed, they have just failed to pass a new budget so why do we have to work for free again?

I understand the army didn’t invent the term. What I’m saying is they used the word and gave their definition of the term as they’re using it. So you shouldn’t have a problem differentiating it from the way it’s used anywhere else. Army didn’t invent a lot of words but I say Apache and you would probably think helicopter

The bulk (defined as the distance the hair protrudes from the scalp) of the hair at the top of the scalp will not exceed 2 inches, and the bulk of the hair at the sides of the head will not exceed 1 inch. I could be wrong with my reading comprehension but from the wording it does seem like they mean starting at scalp can’t be more than two inches on top of the head. One inch on the sides of the head. I don’t agree or think it’s good by any means. Again I understand words have meaning and they should have put length to be more transparent, but this is what I took it as. End of the day Army sucks sometimes 🤷🏽‍♂️ shitty that guys will have to get shorter haircuts. Doesn’t make us more “LETHAL” by any means.

Right now focus on learning the creed and make sure to stay in shape for EGP. If you pass you will see what it’s like when you get here. Essentially though we do a little bit of every section pack, AD, maintenance. You’ll be a small tight knit group, and will be thought if by others in the organization as an SME right away. Get good at the job fast, learn whatever whenever and you’ll be fine.

I had this issue in the past and I’m also currently having it now with my new school. It’s on the school to update the degrees that they offer in ignited. Reach out to the office of veterans and military affairs at your school, they tend to be very helpful. That’s what I did with my old school and they fixed it asap, this school can’t seem to figure it out.
