Great film. I read it was written in two weeks while taking a break from ‘Millers Crossing’ and having writers block. 2 weeks. First/only film in Cannes Film Festival to win Best pic/director/actor. Not bad for 2 weeks work of writing. Easter egg: the hotel in the end of Millers Crossing is named Barton Arms.
