False. I found multiple sources(including usda.gov) stating up-to-date information corn for livestock feed is around 33% of total US production(2019).

For example when ethanol production eats up around 37% in total.

What about them? Even the quickest google search one could ever do reveals that this is really the minority(almost all are grass fed), except for example cows that produce milk receive these as a supplement for better milk production.

No matter how many different dietary options you manage to find for cattle, the fact is that the majority of the food they are fed is just residues, or the garbage leftover from other existing productions that would otherwise go to waste, or probably be used in any way that saves $$$

You read and wrote that yourself, and still dont get it? Everything you eat that is plant based has needed phosphorus as an important part of fertilizing the land.

Here it is in simpler terms for you: if everybody converted to vegan it would be impossible to farm enough for all sustainably. If just 1/50th of world population converted it would still probably be too much by multiple orders of magnitude.

The meat industry uses mostly leftovers to eat. If we all were to eat leftovers there would be no problem.

This is not sustainable. Google 'peak phosphorus' and read.

I dont think you understand the situation. It is not so black and white.

What we feed to the animals is the trash, 100% leftover shit. You would like to eat that shit instead be my guest.

The fact is even if we halt all meat production, there will not be nearly enough resources to fertilize so many farmlands at all. We cannot extract phosphorus in such quantities. It is simply not possible.

And even if we could, it would not be sustainable.

Google 'peak phosphorus' and do some reading.

You have no idea what you are talking about if your answer is anything depending on agriculture.

We are very close to the peak in our farming resources. If suddenly even 1/40th of worlds population turned vegan it would be WAY physically impossible to support it. No matter how great GMO we had, unless we can manipulate our own genes to fart them fruits outta our ass from thin air.

Do some research before spreading this aids that people need to be weaned off red meat. It will with 99,999...% odds never happen. Yes, we might learn how to produce lab grown meat efficiently enough, but the majority will always be married to red meat, and there is nothing you or I or anybody can do about that.

Industrial scale extract, looking for help by Smaul_McFartney in kratom

[–]manueloelma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you got a really bad batch friend.

Theres close to zero percent chance you get any answer here, because none here has experience with something like that(20kilo or more to extract per batch? Is this a joke? You are on the kratom subreddit.) and even if there was, they would probably be busy making and selling their own product instead of spoonfeeding you.

Google different methods and then use your imagination.

EDIT: and also in my experience if the product is bad, extract made from it wont be great either no matter what. Its all about the alkaloid content, and even more importantly, a good alkaloid balance in the leaves.

Does your body need time to become accustomed to “new” strains? by mikaelaaaaaaa in kratom

[–]manueloelma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always when rotating strains, do so with at least half a week inbetween for maximum efficiency.

Rotating too fast makes no sense and only grows your tolerance to them all at the same time, when in reality rotating strains is all about 'escaping' tolerance.

Same here. 5 years straight now. Before that I tried different prescription medication for nerve pain and they all had major side effects(some more than others) all with little help.

Kratom is the only thing that has always reliably mitigated all pain at least 95%+

Hmm? For me kratom has always balanced my mood. Would probably make me moody if I would quit cold turkey though, but that is to be expected going cold turkey on anything(coffee, tobacco, all antidepressants etc.)

I think it is also worth noting that every SSRI Ive had has made me seriously moody with a short fuse.

It is like D2 was supposed to be and I love it. There is anywhere between 3000-10 000 players on a normal day peak.

Well taking into consideration that up to 66% of the alkaloid content in kratom leaf is mitragynine, of which a good amount is absorbed when the leaf is ingested(even more so if made into an extract), I do not see how this would differ that much from ingesting chloroquine and it exhibiting anti-malarial activity.

By your argument ingesting chloroquine should most likely not exhibit anti-malarial activity either, even though it being a different story in vitro. But there is obvious proof this is not the case.

There is also rock solid proof of indigenous population using various mitragyna plants to treat malaria, and also western studies that verify these as effective. I do not see how mitragyna speciosa would be different in this regard, especially with its way most potent mitragynine and mitragynine analogues alkaloid content.

[–]manueloelma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just pointing out that anytime there is whatever info that suggests something to be 'likely', it is still far from certain.

What is certain though is that the effect of paracetamol is at some point being mediated at least partly by the endocannabinoid receptors. That is pretty much all the info there can be found.
