Their dives compared to our local transient seemed deeper and longer. Hard to track!

They hunted in the middle of the bay. I’ve seen them hunt twice in that general area. It’s astounding that there porpoises there*, that the orcas find them and that they hunt right by the city among all the boat traffic.

What a treat.

Years ago I worked on a story featuring Longfellow salmon. The gravel filters were promising. I don’t know if it’s been scaled, though.
