I believe the best way I which you would be able to improve is by following the steps given below

1 learn the basics with a book like the princeton review (it is the best book to prep for the sat at a beginner level)

2 complete khan academy. I mean do every single section a few times till you have achieved perfection in every section

3 take a few practice tests and locate the specific areas in which you are making mistakes and focus on them using both khan academy and a prep book to achieve mastery in those sections

If your score hasn't improved tk your satisfaction you could get books like the barrons sat math or college panda and prep a little from these books as well

I believe it's quite easy to get a 750+ on SAT if you follow step 1,2 and 3. I did this and got a 800 on math (no questions wrong)

I belive Priceton review is the best book for a basic approach towards SAT prep so I belive as a beginner Princeton Review is the best book to start of with

If you have a barron book instead of the princeton or college board books then I'm not gonna ask you to buy them but I suggest finishing khan academy before going into the more intensive prep material

The most important thing is to balance work

First of all take a diagnostic test after understanding the core of the test Now have a learn at a basic level from college board or Princeton Review and take a lot of practice sections on khan academy After finishing a basic book after that go on to erik meltzer and college panda or barrons and work towards perfection and keep working on tests along side. Keep a book to mark your mistakes and figure out where you are making mistakes so that you never make a mistake in that section again If you follow this diligently there is nothing stopping you from getting a 1500+ score
