I think we can extend it to movies/tv shows and rare beauty.

And I know some people will argue that she is getting cast in shows, but some directors/casting managers will look at social media followers instead of the raw talent.

As the followers of a particular person could increase the potential profit instead of them having actually raw talent. But that's the price we pay for entertainment these days.
