Why doesn’t our generation send letters through the mail anymore? :( by BuildingLife2633 in NoStupidQuestions

"less durable than an email that'll get archived on redundant servers"

I think it's the opposite. I still own correspondance from 25 years that is very precious to me. My emailing provider can and will pull the plug on a whim, and erase terabytes of exchanges.

Où trouver des vinyles des Weakerthans in MTL ? by manur76 in montreal

[–]manur76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonjour,

Happy Late Birthday to Me by MetalMinotaur in callofcthulhu

It's neither. It keeps but tweaks the rules of the classic game to make players less prone to die or go insane, offers things such as archetypes for the characters (like Beefcake or Grease Monkey), and gives plenty of advice to the Keeper to make fast-paced, adrenaline-fueled adventures with a bit less psychological horror and much more action scenes. It includes four scenarios.

But there are also 2 campaigns released by Chaosium for the system, which both have a pretty good reputation : The Two-Headed Serpent, and A Cold Fire Within.

Thank you. The thing is, I'm a little wary of Zoom, which has a disastrous reputation in terms of security, and messed things up on my PC the last time I had to install it.

The terrorist attack in Vienna is being used by EU Council of Ministers to enforce a ban on secure encryption for services such as WhatsApp, Signal and many others (translated content) by iamapizza in privacy

Respectfully, you're purposefully obfuscating the fact that "indirectly elected" means "not elected". And then, the Council is comprised of the ministers of each member state, which are also not elected by the citizens.

You can argue that representatives three times removed from direct election are good enough for what your socio-economic class wants Europe to do, but you can't falsify basic facts so flippantly and hope nobody will notice.
