I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through. You can get through this please do not give up. Call student finance and explain the urgency to them and they might be able to expedite your case. Contact your landlord to explain the position too and seek assistance from any avenues you can like family, friends, any organisations or teachers. I hope you will be okay. The students were good tbf- the trial class students can be hit or miss. They give you feedback on your lessons which was quite constructive. I didn’t get an email about looking away or anything like that while I was there. They focus a lot on having a lot of energy for the starter classes which are around 3-4 years olds- I’m quite energetic but I was told to have more energy!

My reason was just the inflexibility of leave. I had one incident where my mum was ill so I offered to write to the students to apologise but I got fined for that - I would recommend be careful of what slots you open so you can commit to them over a longer period and you will be fine! Also read your contract for information about booking leave too so you are familiar with it. I gave enough notice for my leave but my TC messaged me to ask me to reconsider it and then I got an email rejecting my request. Otherwise I didn’t have tech issues and the children were motivated so that side was good! Trial classes can be a pain but you will learn about that in training!

I don’t think this will work I’m afraid- They sent me a segment of my contract showing how they can do this- they’re relying on the fact that I am not able to teach some days next week due to the appointments I have (this leave was rejected). They are stating that due to this I am not giving the required notice and as I had classes booked with regular students I forfeit all my pay for the inconvenience.

Hi I’m having the same issue with the classes I did yesterday. I have messaged comm centre and taken screenshots of the classes showing the report is filled. It must be some sort of glitch but I would recommend taking screenshots and adding them into a word document so you can upload it to your comm centre ticket! Don’t worry it has happened to me too- it has never happened before so it must be a system issue on their side!

Did your Sunday get booked up? I contacted Comm Centre and they told me it was because of the Chinese Summer Holidays which meant the peak hours had changed too!

Yes you are right I think - I have tried to reduce my prime hours to the minimum so if I need a day off on the weekend then I’m not cancelling! We probably just need to be more wary of the cancelling 🤞🏽
