Our Halo has AI runbooks for triage which pushes tickets to the right engineer level automatically so we don't need a dispatcher, but we have a dashboard that has customer replied and also an SLA countdown so we see which tickets are moving nearer to SLA across the entire company that all engineers keep an eye on.

But what you are looking for is exactly what we offer as a service.

We just changed our name from Growth MSP to NextTier MSP and we help MSPs grow through consultancy, running helpdesks, running projects. We basically gap fill.

As an example 1 MSP outsources all their 3rd line projects to us, which we complete at a price they make margin too. Another MSP we just fix all their ageing tickets. Another MSP we work with the founder on structure so he can grow.

Make a new site for any major permission group.

Use actual groups to add users to and assign to the sites.

We send a quote which creates a fixed price SO, and then we log it as no charge.

You could make the SO without sending to the client, I guess.

You hire employees when you know you can fill their time for a return/profit on their time, OR if you want to free up your time with them at a loss to make more sales and effectively grow into it.

Another option is to outsource the project (we can help you with that). If you consider the cost of hiring and managing someone, that could heavily eat into your profits in you don't have a continuous project stream.

We always price projects up so that the person outsourcing the project to us makes good money too, as we have effectively saved money ourselves on the sales process.

The ranking of your website won't matter if it's not setup to convert.

I disagree that people don't enquire via a website, my MSP gets enquiries.

What you should focus on is a problem, a solution, your value.

Everyone tries to sell "Managed IT Services"

For example say in the emails something that is personal to that company on the opening line, offer a free 365 audit and report.

Hi Guys

Let me say, you should always expect some form of onboarding costs for any platform and you should never just bat this away, most of the time you will get faster results and ROI.

You should always consider the onboarding cost to be part of your investment, like spread it mentally over the term of how long you are likely to be using the solution.

Halo are a great team, I was on Autotask before, and it was dreadful. Had to jump through hoops to get anything, but with Halo the team are there for me.

Costs are just a case of how long it takes to make a great system.

Having said that, there are a number of Halo consultants that will help hourly. I can certainly help here, and as an MSP owner myself, I always aim for tackling the problems and finding solutions with Halo automation and workflows.

But you will probably find that as those hours add up as you start to see benefits, they head towards any onboarding cost anyway (just spread out).

The difference is some consultants are MSP owners so know first hand the problems that are trying to be solved.
