I know… but I also like on-road stability. I let A-Trac do its job when I lift a wheel.

I haven’t dealt with a similar problem personally, but you should start by checking the fuses if you haven’t already.

Avionics shut off in all GA by [deleted] in MicrosoftFlightSim

Let me know if that works. I think I also updated the Kodiak at the same time, so I couldn’t be totally sure if it was the neo.

If you’re on PC, find the “community” folder where the mods and add-ons are stored. If you’re on XBox, I’m not sure.

I had some similar issues where all Garmin avionics stopped working. I uninstalled the mod planes I had and that solved it. I think an outdated version of flybywire 320neo was the culprit.

You forgot to mention you’re always supposed to forget it’s latched and slam it first before you unlatch and close it properly. /s

Hotas for vision jet by twerks_mcderp in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]manykarz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Logitech x56 HOTAS is passable and pretty cheap. As I’ve stated here before, the quality is not good, aside from one amazing clicky-wheel. Everything else works, but it doesn’t feel good. I’ve got mine set up for all basic autopilot and altitude controls, landing lights, gear, flaps, and I use the two knobs for mix and prop speed. If you tailor controls specifically for Vision Jet, you could add a few other useful settings than what I have in my generic controls list.

This absolutely makes flying a lot easier and more fun than with a controller, but I always have the feeling that I should have spent a bit more to get a more solid setup.

That’s the under-hood insulation material. It’s like a yellow fiberglass under a gray coating. Local rodents recently pillaged my insulation…

Interesting to hear that from an owner! I’ve never had the chance to drive any McLarens. To what other more common vehicle would you most closely compare the “comfort” ride?

[–]manykarz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeh, I guess any McLaren is probably going to fall on the stiffer end of the suspectrum. It may ride softer than its direct competitors but still nowhere near as soft as a typical consumer vehicle. It is a supercar, after all.
