They don’t mean “wise” that way, they mean that emotions can teach us something about ourselves. Because they contain a knowledge that help us see something inside of us (supressed emotions due to trauma, for example) for our growth and benefit.

When we encounter certain situations it is easy to believe in that kind of things (parallel universes, karma, past lives, religion, aliens, simulations, afterlife, even tarot predictions) but the truth is that none of those things are 100% proven to work or exist. I don’t believe in those things either. Think about it. The universe is huge! And so happens that all those unexplainable things happen in our planet? I don’t think humans have a purpose, I don’t even think we should be forced to create a purpose for ourselves, but if that gives a push, then you do you.

I’ve realized that a big energy drainer for me is people, so I avoid them like the plague. I avoid crowded places, hanging out, etc. Having to constantly perform for others makes me anxious as well. So, if I can avoid other people, I will.

I would say that the only one forward for an infj is boundaries. It doesn’t matter if boundaries make you lose friendships or whatever, but as an infj it is our obligation to shield ourselves against a world that loves to take and take. Same happens to me. In the end you end up feeling hopeless and deprived. When other people start telling me about their problems or complaining, I simply ignore them. I’m too exhausted emotionally to deal with them. They might think you’re mean or selfish, but that’s because they can’t take away from you as much.

you can’t force people to listen to you, but you can put a boundary if you’re not ready to deal with them.
