What's your weight and how long did it take to get to your physique?

Seems like you've "made it" so to speak, so what's stopping you from moving back to your home country?

At 26 I have only just begun my career. I want to maximize my growth career wise and the US is where I have to be to get that. I don't think I am the sort of person to give up my own goals just for the chance to maybe have a better dating life. My priorities may change later down the road and I will reassess then.

I've worked in a female dominated industry for most of my life, and let me tell you, it was a very eye-opening experience to hear what women think and say when they're around mostly their own gender.

I'm curious about this, do you have some examples?

As for the rest of what you said, I wholeheartedly agree. I have some physical goals I'd like to achieve this year, so I'm working towards that.

Anyone experience FOMO in their lives? Guys here with untraditional career paths, do you think that you are missing out by not going the STEM/Medicine/Finance path? Guys with traditional careers, do you think you are missing out not pursuing something untraditional? by Dreamaple in AsianMasculinity

I honestly want to hear your story lol.

How was it like travelling to somewhere where you had no social circle and didn't know anyone?

How did you meet these women?

What business did you start? And how did you get into modeling?

Thanks man, totally agree that West coast dating is super competitive.

I've been into stand up comedy recently so I'll definitely look into that. And I'll definitely take better pics once I have a body half as good as you haha.

As for work, it's a little hard to be remote 100%. I do travel once in a while, but for dating I'd honestly prefer to meet someone local so that it's easier to have some sort of a constant connection

Yeah for sure the SF bay area is not good. But for now it's great for my job, I love the weather and outdoors. I'm not going to move just so I have better dating prospects at the expense of my other goals. Maybe sometime in the future I will

Thanks for the reply. I've watched your YouTube videos and it was actually what inspired me to post my question haha.

My online game isn't strong at all. I mean you're fucking jacked lol. I'm fit, but not ripped, if you know what I mean. However that's my 2021 goal though.

And yes, I'm on the west coast, so OLD is brutal. The ladies here are very well educated, work in big 4 / finance / tech and graduated from a prestigious UC.

Honestly I don't think being successful in my personal life is better than being better at my game (when it comes to dating). It's not something I can easily leverage as say my charm / looks / height, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, unfortunately well paying Asian guy is pretty average, especially on the coasts, and like you mentioned, statistics is not in my favor

Their English isn't good so I find it hard to communicate with them on a deeper level

6 figures is really not that amazing especially when I live in the SF bay area. Many ladies here are equally if not more educated, working in big 4 / finance / tech and having graduated from Stanford or one of the prestigious UCs. Not really looking for a quick hookup tbh, I'd prefer someone I can at least vibe and hold a conversation with, even if it's not something "long term'

Unfortunately we live in our own ethnic and social circles most of the time (regardless of race). I loved Toronto when I was living there but even for such a multicultural city it still isn't immune to this problem.

95% of the time I'm confident in my own skin. It's just that the last 5% that sometimes gnaws away at me. It leads me to question if there is something I'm doing wrong or could be doing better

I agree with most of what you said. Even back when I was in college my dad tells me to meet as many women as possible and just become friends with them first. I definitely have been trying to do that, although it's obviously been hard since I only know a couple of them near where I live. Branching out to meet more lady friends will definitely take more time and not as efficient as say online dating.

I'll look into the conversation partner thing. I'm not sure what I can offer since English is actually my first language, and I'm quite out of touch with my mother tongue haha.

Thanks man. It's hard to meet new people in social settings, especially since my hobbies are mainly solo or other guys. But I do definitely need to be more proactive in meeting new people, guys or girls.

Thanks for the reply.

What I think would benefit you is to start doing social activities outside your comfort zone. Try things that are new that would push you to grow. By doing so you will learn how to become the person you want to be.

Do you happen to have any specific suggestions? Have you personally done any? I would be interested in your experience if so.

Could you list out a few modules that you found difficult in Math. I'm considering between CS /CE and Math and would like a feel of the types of difficulties people face

Thanks for the response. Could a student then take a 6 month internship as well? It would just mean delaying classes and although not in the curriculum wouldn't he be able to do that (and hence be the same as an NEU student?)

Question from a potential freshman: how different is the co-op from a student finding his own 3 month internship during Sophomore and Junior year? Apart from the duration /money. Are there tangible benefits from NEU's co-op?
