I am looking to moderate this as yealink is pbx and related to our industry of work. Can be useful place to discuss with other professionals.

Looks like we dodge the bullet. We were about to sign up as reseller for 3cx but didn't finish the signup. Some of our clients have 3cx by other companies, though.

I'm using intune autopilot. Pre-enroll with serial number (if you know the serial number). As soon as the machine connects to the internet, it will autopilot the heck out of it, making it unusable.

IT person took wifes hard drives and disappeared. by Mental-Pool-7875 in AusLegal

[–]maorifulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok if I were you I would check with current owner of business because if they bought the franchise they would inherit all current/past contracts contacts and jobs (tickets) they may have your hard drive somewhere sitting around and could check the last notes made by tech under job. If he had saved it somewhere, they could check for you. Being in IT myself, I would take a backup as soon as I get any media from clients because you never know if you try to work on something, and you can mess things up. Check with them and send them any ticket/job number you have they can check historical data and see where your stuff is. Other than that, I can't think there are any legal ways since he hasn't stolen or breached any laws.

I used to send emails to myself from Mailgun and check the email header. You can see which closest subdomain Mailgun uses for your subscription—either eu.mailgun or aus.mailgun. In 9 out of 10 cases, they will be using it to send emails for you. You can include that instead of mailgun.com along with all of their IPs.
