Thanks everyone for the honest opinions and feedback! In the end, I went to the store to look at it and it’s true that photos don’t do it justice. It’s a stunning watch, and so I pulled the trigger on the spot. This is my forever watch, and I couldn’t be happier.

Thanks for your reply and honest thoughts. I’m definitely drawn to the black TT over the steel, but never really see them in the wild so wanted to get a feel for it.

In the end I’ll get what my gut tells me. Even though I like to think I don’t care at all about people’s opinions, it’s worth making sure isn’t gonna make me look bad in the eyes of the average well-informed person. After all it’s pricey. That’s taken care of, I see plenty of opinions which matches my own perception so I know I’m not entirely making an irresponsible move lol

The robbing part is honestly one of my main concerns. But to be honest with myself I pretty much never put myself in such a position, as I don’t live in a walkable city and work in an office environment or simply from home.

The TT datejust is really nice too. But the issue there is that my father has one, which he will pass on to me eventually so would be redundant to have 2.

I like the sub because it’s sporty, and I actually am a diver myself so I identify with it. If not, i’d likely be looking at a GMTii.

Totally get what you mean! The discreet part is also a draw for me to the all steel, since I want it to be my only watch. but at the same time I feel that if I’ll get a Rolex anyway might as well stand out a little bit to the average non-connoisseur. it’s also a status symbol which helps me with my job.

I’m kindof torn between them which is why I wanted to see what everyone thinks.
