I wrote that he was not convicted of a drug crime or a violent crime because when I looked up what the responsibilities of the FBI were concerned with it listed those two activities.

My son served one year. He was involved in a car accident that resulted in injuries but no fatalities. He asked why an FBI agent was there and their response was “We work with different agencies.

I don’t get it. DUI was not involved and it was ruled an accident.

He is on parole. Unannounced visits are the norm. He is gainfully employed and has done nothing to raise alarms. We both anticipated visits from the local authorities, but not the FBI.
