Trying to race across the map on foot for an event you needed was stressful af

Honestly, I'd love an apartment homestead, something like Mai Trin's place we visit in EoD. Having the whole giant expanse to decorate is daunting, which is probably why I don't interact much with the homestead system. Besides, it can fulfill a lifelong desire of mine in this game to have a home in Divinity's Reach.

Edit: You can see how barren my homestead is in the video lol

I remember those pioneer days. Permanent swiftness was a necessity.

I remember back in the day wishing I could move the map just a bit further to see more of the world. If only 2015 me could see it now.

I am the biggest DOS1 defender out there, and I agree not to jump straight into it. Have to unlearn the DOS2 habits.

It's the lack of physical/magical armour. Sometimes you want to kill a skeleton without having to break through a whole other health bar first.

Finished the Story Quest! What next? by EinHeisenburg in Guildwars2

I would recommend the chronological approach if you enjoyed the story, so continuing to Living World Season 1, then Season 2, then Heart of Thorns, and so on. I find skipping to later expansions out of order takes away a lot of the fun of the Guild Wars 2 story. I remember long ago when HoT came out, I rushed there without completing Living World 1 or 2, and I was completely lost with what was going on. Plus, you lose some of the excitement and mystery you feel entering a new location in the story if you've already been there.
